Jude loves his new swimming pool. It’s shallow enough for him to lay in. He really just needs a good dunk every once in a while. It’s been so hot here! We’re expecting it to be 88 degrees today. Yikes.
Jude Got His First Tooth!

After a pretty rough night, Jude got his first tooth. I noticed it this morning. It’s one of his bottom teeth and it’s just a tiny little piece. I’m probably in for a couple more sleepless nights until it’s all the way in? I’m not sure how this works… But yeah, what a big boy, right?

Jude’s First Swim Lesson

Jude had his first swim lesson tonight. He’s signed up for eight more classes. I can’t decide who had more fun – us or Jude. What he loved the most was all the other kids. There were probably 15 other little tikes with him in the pool ranging from six months to two years old. He learned (or rather, we learned how to help him) to float on his back. Who knew!

I just went into Jude’s room a minute ago and took this picture. This is how he sleeps, with his head resting on his hands. We don’t understand how this could be comfortable, but for him, it’s the ticket.
